Although one of the smaller islands of Cape Verde and its terrain is characterized by extremely arid lunar landscapes, the island of Sal is the most popular island of Cape Verde. Essentially for two reasons: the enormous and spectacular beach with limpid blue sea and the presence of the international airport that facilitates communication Europe and America. The apartment is located in the south of the island, in the colorful town of Santa Maria, a former fishing village, today the tourist center par excellence of the island, around which precisely all the major sports. At 150m from the apartment you will find the Josh Angulo's surf school as well as the Fanatic/Mistral center, and there are countless spots dedicated to the practice of water sports, and given the small size of the island (30km X 12km), with the hiring of a Pick-up in short you can reach them all.

The studio 38sqm for 2 people includes a double bed with bedside tables, TV cabinet, TV, wardrobe 3 doors with shelves, fitted kitchen with oven practical and functional, table with four chairs, fridge/freezer, large bathroom with sink, bidet, toilet, shower, apartment very bright and fresh. Ground floor, private entrance, private garden brick. Located in Praia Sousa about 700 meters from the city center, in a quiet and peaceful area for relaxation lovers who love to be rocked by the sound of the waves.

Spot
Sal offers the best conditions especially for wave riding, the most famous spot remains Ponta Preta with a height from 2 to 7 meters... not for everyone! Normally when the condition are important there are few who venture there. During the winter it's easy to see in action the likes of Angulo, Dunkerbeck, Tabulet, Tabul. Fortunately, a few minutes drive there are spots as Rife, Kan, Caleta Funda, allowing even the less experienced to be able to enjoy long waves and clean. Further north around Mount Leao there are some truly spectacular Secret spot (just behind the mountains), Coral Joule and especially the immense Ali' Baba' defined by Kauli Seadi one of the three best waves of the globe. On days mythical, these last two, working in synchronous enough to offer waves from some tens of bottom and cut back, on the same wavelength.

The exposed side of Africa presents conditions "on shore" and the spot of Shark Bay, is the hottest especially to jump. And this is the spot preferred by Kitesurfers for the length of the beach and the absence of bathers or barriers. The beach of Santa Maria finally offers the most varied conditions. It is in fact the two spot wave of Ponta Leme and Ponta Sino both good for jumps and rides, water almost flat in the center bay suitable for the free ride and free style. A tip: if you want to surf, bring your shoes, because except in rare cases, the wave works on rock and sea urchins are everywhere!

Expenditure for the consumption of water and electricity is always excluded, cost on average € 14 per person per week.
